The double acting Step Feeder consists of a set of moving box steps and a set of moving plate steps mounted on cross frame support tubes. Both moving sections are connected by link arms to a torque pipe which is connected by a drive arm to a reducer.
In the standard model, the reducer is activated by a vector motor which is controlled by a flux vector drive at speeds up to 50 cycles per minute.
